The Alliance will welcome Andrea Usry, Nicasa's Deflection Coordinator. She will provide local and U.S. statistics on opioid overdose deaths, current trends with opioid use, the neuroscience of substance use disorder, barriers to treatment (stigma), how to recognize and respond to an opioid overdose and harm reduction information. She will also take names and addresses to distribute Narcan to anyone who is interested free of charge.
