Dr. Muriel Adams is the founder and executive director of One World Shared Future Community Labs, where she collaborates with frontline communities to address environmental and social challenges through education, innovation, and collective action. Her work emphasizes community wisdom, engagement, and leadership development, helping residents take an active role in shaping resilient, equitable futures. Through her adult learning program, A River Runs Through It!, Dr. Adams promotes urban water stewardship while building local capacity to manage essential resources. She is committed to empowering communities to lead change and thrive amid environmental and social challenges.
