All in for Professional Growth in 2026.

The Alliance has a multitude of professional development and relationship-building offerings in 2026 for folks at all levels of the organizational chart. We look forward to supporting our amazing human service sector that creates so much hope for Lake County.

Emerging Leaders

Our committees are busy planning workshops for staff striving to prepare for leadership opportunities by honing their technical and power skills. Look for workshops on nonprofit financial basics, navigating challenging conversations, creating a healthy organizational culture, and managing the staff-board dynamic.

SUSTAIN Continuing Education

Three 1-hour virtual workshops will help licensed counselors of all stripes meet their cultural competency requirements Join us for Stereotypes, Myths & Misconceptions (3/13), Identifying & Disrupting Bias (4/14) and Understanding & Addressing Microaggressions (5/14).

RESPOND

Monthly RESPOND meetings will resume in February – as always, on the first Wednesday of the month at 9am. The first half of 2026 will feature presentations from the Lake County Health Department, Catholic Charities (an in-person event), One World Shared Future, Veterans Path to Hope and Willow House.

Other Offerings

The Alliance will once again offer the Annual Legislative Breakfast and a Collab & Connect & Connect Event. We would love to hear from you! Contact Lisa at director@allianceforhs.org if you have any program ideas.
