COVID 19 & TRAUMA

Alliance Members

Please join us in a webinar!

This is the first in a series of training webinars presented by The Illinois Collaboration on Youth (ICOY) on Trauma Informed Care.  This webinar will explore the impact of the COVID-19 pandemic on individuals and communities.

Participants will learn ways to discuss the psychological and emotional impact of this crisis as it relates to our daily lives. In recognizing the ongoing traumatic impact of COVID-19, facilitators will share resources that support healthy individual coping mechanisms and self-care.

Participants will also have an opportunity to process the systemic impact of COVID-19 especially as it relates to already marginalized populations such as communities of color, undocumented immigrants, unhoused people, and disabled individuals.

Lastly, participants will learn about the mutual aid networks and resource sharing channels communities have built to support collective care.

  • Will include break outs, polls, group questions, and self-reflection

  • Training will be recorded, and resources will be shared as well

  • We will also provide LSW, LCSW, LCP, and LCPC (CEUs) for specific licenses as well!

Please Note: This offering is available to Alliance Members only. There is no cost for this webinar.

Membership registration will be verified before zoom links are shared. Email info@allianceforhs.org if you have any questions.
